Purpose
Liberon High Protection Woodstain is a triple action product that protects, treats and provides a durable finish to new and old interior and exterior wood.
Guaranteed for 4 years it is ideal for use on interior and exterior timber such as gates, fences, window frames, panelling and beams.

How to use
Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
Bare wood: brush and remove all traces of dust. For greater protection timber may be treated with an exterior wood preserver before applying High Protection Woodstain.
Previously stained wood: brush the timber to remove any flaking pieces, sand to a smooth surface and remove all dust.
Varnished or painted wood: strip the timber with a general wood stripper. Neutralise in accordance with wood stripper manufacturers instructions, then rinse with water and allow to dry for 24 hours. Sand and remove all dust.
Oily wood: degrease before applying High Protection Woodstain.
Application
Stir well with a stirring stick before use.
Apply a minimum of 2 coats of High Protection Woodstain with a brush, spray (10% dilution with water) or a roller (specially designed for woodstains).
Allow 3 hours to dry between coats.
On new or heavily exposed timber we recommend applying a third coat when using a light coloured stain.
Ideal conditions for application are between 12° and 25°C on wood that is not too hot in order to avoid drying marks.
Important: Always test product on a spare surface or inconspicuous area for colour, compatibility and end result.
